Movesesh is not medical advice

Movesesh records your training and suggests weights, sets, and repetitions based on what you have logged. Those suggestions are arithmetic applied to your own history. They are not medical, physiotherapeutic, or professional fitness advice, and they take no account of your health, injuries, or individual circumstances.

Resistance training carries a risk of serious injury. You are responsible for judging whether any suggested weight or exercise is safe for you on the day, and for using appropriate technique, equipment, and supervision. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training programme, particularly if you have an existing condition or injury. Stop if something hurts. The app cannot see you and does not know how you feel.

Your data is your responsibility

Your training data is stored on your device, not on our servers, which means we cannot recover it for you. If your phone is lost, damaged, or reset, that data is gone unless you have exported it or it is covered by your own device backup. The app provides CSV export for exactly this reason and we recommend using it periodically.

No warranty

Movesesh is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that its calculations will suit your goals.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Porluz LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, arising from your use of Movesesh. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Acceptable use

Use Movesesh lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt the app or the service that hosts its version information, and do not redistribute the app as your own.

Apple App Store

If you installed Movesesh from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to that installation and governs it alongside these terms. Apple is not responsible for the app, and any claim relating to it should come to us rather than to Apple. Apple is a third party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them.

Changes

These terms may change as the app changes. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use Movesesh after a change means accepting the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
